We’re open to serve our community’s ongoing childcare needs.
It is our intention to, wherever possible, ensure an uninterrupted continuation of care. We believe it’s critical that families who need our support continue to get it.
In order for essential workers to be out keeping us safe or ensuring we’re able to buy food for our families, or caring for the sick, they need to know their children are cared for in a safe, supportive environment. As a result, we have decided to keep our centers open and functioning during this pandemic.

With directive from the city, our Oxnard regional office is closed. Our staff are monitoring the phones and will reply to any questions, but the physical office will remain closed until further notice.
To our CDC families,
It’s been a challenging time for all of us as we contend with the widening list of cancellations and postponements due to Covid-19, or, coronavirus. With the news of school cancellations across the state, I know many families are concerned about a lack of options for their children’s care.
It is our intention to, wherever possible, ensure an uninterrupted continuation of care. We believe it’s critical that families who need our support continue to get it. We will know more as we consult with school districts in the coming days but as of today we plan to continue operation when possible.
In some cases, where we share physical space with schools, the decision to remain open will be out of our hands, as we must adhere to decisions made by the district. Depending on decisions made by our district partners, our ability to remain open will vary from district to district, in some cases school to school. Please reach out to your local CDC to determine if it is one of the centers we are able to keep open during this time. In some cases we will also be able to accommodate children from nearby centers. Again, please contact your local center to determine which situation applies in each case.
In all our centers we are engaging in aggressive cleaning. As we indicated in our previous correspondence, in addition to our daily cleaning practices we are both increasing the frequency of disinfecting touched surfaces and using disposable products, when available and appropriate. We are also increasing the frequency of handwashing for both staff and continuing our daily health checks and separating sick children from others until they can go home.
We remain committed to supporting our communities however we are able. We know how challenging this occasion is for many of our families who depend on us for family care and we will do everyone in our power to be able to provide whatever assistance we can.
