Founded in 1969, Child Development Inc operates 166 early care and education centers throughout the State of California, that serve over 15,000 children birth through twelve years of age. We offer a variety of infant/toddler, preschool and school age programs funded by parent fees and the California Department of Education. We work with 36 school districts throughout the State to provide before and after school programs, including homework assistance and kindergarten readiness programs to families.


Just some of the variety in programs offered by CDI/CDC:

  • Full day care for infants/toddlers, preschoolers and school agers
  • Part day and/ or part week readiness programs for preschoolers; both funded and private fee based
  • Off track, vacation and summer camps for school agers that include engaging and active learning designed to get your child moving and connected
  • Cal Works subsidies and support for Stage 2 and 3 families
  • Subsidized programs for qualified families; center-based and family childcare
